There are no weirdos in today’s Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day!

Published at:  Jan 17, 2012 9:39:46 PM CST

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!

Alex Winter very kindly sent in a few personal behind the scenes shots from some of his movies a while back. I’ve already run some of the Bill and Ted ones and now it’s time to showcase this bizarre, crazy insane comedy he directed called Freaked.

Man, is this a funky movie. In a good way, as those who have seen it will attest. Crazy make-up effects and a cast just as bizarre as the movie they’re in… Randy Quaid, William Sadler, Morgan Fairchild, Alex Winter himself, Deep Roy, Mr. T (!!!) and Brooke Shields to name a few.

You really should check this one out if you haven’t seen it. It’s certainly unlike anything you’ve seen in recent years… or ever. Heh.

Thanks to Mr. Winter for sending this along. Click to enlargen!

If you have a behind the scenes shot you’d like to submit to this column, you can email me at quint@aintitcool.com.

Tomorrow’s Behind the Scenes pic is from a big film that has long been demanded by certain readers to be included in this column.

As bad as it could be, it would be worth it to see those guys later in life. Here's hoping, BRING IT!!!

  • The Wachowski bro-sis-tahs are definitely under-represented, and I hope CLOUD ATLAS brings them back to the fore.

Sloan was one of the best recurring characters on DS9. If I had a billion dollars to throw at a studio, I would totally write a Star Trek series that followed Sloan around.

Think of it: a futuristic Jack Bauer in the Star Trek universe. I bet it would be pretty great.

My son and I have been "lurking" here for a long time (he never posts, and I only have maybe 7 times). I have to say, the BTSP is still my fave feature.
Just one thought- I always thought "click to embiggen" was a charming and fun bit of slang.
If we have to lose it- can we at least tell the new guy to stop with the "word up" and "XOXO"?
    Just playfully askin'...
Seriously, though, don't ever stop- love your work!

was simply amazing. The way he says "anyone who dares oppose us will stand knee deep in the blood of their children"with a wry smile was Oscar worthy.

I must be like the fifth iteration of Neo or something here.

    All this shit repeats itself.

AICN crashes because of the quotation marks, and then the Architect must rebuild it.

and killik... way to be on top of things... yet I hope Quint changes his mind just to fuck up your fact call.

I fucking hate FACT. People who use it should be dragged a kilometre over rusty razor blades and then thrown in a pool of salt and vinegar... That's just my opinon however, not an actual fact.

Most people on this site need to be Princess Brided.... aka... You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

That my friends, romans and trolls is a fact.

    by has_snyder_been_fired_from_superman_yet

...he's show up at my door looking for a friend of his who happened to be by roommate. Never talked to him too much, though. Freaked out when he was suddenly Bill in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Of course no one believed that "Hey, I know that guy." Freaked is, of course, a cult masterpiece.

I LOVE this movie! Saw it in the theater even back at the glorious and now kaput Sunset 5 in Hollywood.

And FREAKED has my favorite opening titles of any movie ever.
